2009 saw a special display by the Ancient Wessex
Development Group over the weekend of 1st & 2nd August. This
featured a display of art and craft works inspired by ancient landscape
and material culture. There were demonstrations that the public
watched and talked about with the "experts", with chances to
try some of the skills, such as beaker making and textile working.
