| This
page gives details of the Sunday Sessions being run during 2008. Dates for Autumn 2008 sessions :- October 12th and 26th November 2nd, 9th and 30th Also available - Gift Vouchers - dated to ensure a place or left open, to be booked later. The facilities are available from 10am to 5pm, but you can come when you like. We are taking bookings from individuals and groups, subject to 12 people maximum. We do fully tuitored sessions for new comers or those wishing to learn more - or cheaper "come and play days" (aimed at those with previous experience such as evening class students). Follow this link about "tasters" We will be firing pots in the Raku kiln, we have a stock of suitable biscuit fired pots or people can fire ones they have made previously. You apply the various glazes & then watch the firing. After cooling, you clean them up & take them home. Allow at least 3 hours for this. Take a look at the webpages about raku for more information. Pottery wheels are available for those that want to try them, tuition will be given at various levels upon demand. Wear old clothes & shoes (waterproof, but nothing too inflammable). Bring a camera, food
& drink. Sometimes an urn of soup will be available - especially if
you ask beforehand. The fees are variable, for a fully tutored day, including a Raku pot and a lump of clay, it is £40 per person or £70 for two people. For evening class
students or others with no tuition the fees are lower, subject to space.
