My passion with pottery started in the mid sixties when I was living in Sussex. I attended a part time pottery class and I was hooked!!

Due to family commitments I had to put pottery on hold until a move to Dorset in 1985 when I was fortunate enough to meet Maggie & Fil Cooke who run pottery classes in Upwey. There was no looking back!

They were very supportive and I now have a workshop, where I create plaques and tiles in stoneware with glass decoration, depicting mainly sheep and chickens, which I can see from my workshop window.

The Dorset countryside and my passion for gardening gives my inspiration for natural forms such as mushrooms and stylised landscapes. I like to experiment with new ideas. I also work in porcelain and Raku.
